FROM THE FIELD KITCHEN
WW2 style rations served from our field kitchen into your own mess tins!
We always try to serve food which would be typical of both military and civilian rations. We have been unable to locate the tinned bacon, so popular with British troops or soya link sausages, (not so popular!) but we have sourced the famed dried egg which may find its way onto the breakfast menu!
We will also be providing other popular war time goodies including Eggless Cake,
Rabbit Stew, Spam Fritters, Camp Coffee, Hot Beef Tea and, of course, condensed milk to have with your Tea and Coffee.
BREAKFAST
Fill your self up on our Field Breakfast of fried spam with eggs, sausage & Beans, bread and butter with optional carrot or plum jam! with your morning brew.
LUNCH
Our Field Ration lunch of “Bully” Hash with Beans, thickly cut slice or with optional jam and the mandatory cuppa, served in your own mess kit if you so wish! or our best selling hot SPAM Rolls!
Bully Hash will always be on our menu but we will have many alternatives available at most events. This will usually be a beef mince based dish with potatoes and peas or carrots, Rabbit stew, sausage and mash with lashings of gravy and many more all home made by Well'eat Again! |
